I used to frequent a bar on the harbour that I believe once was the old customs house.
They used to do the occasional live TV chat show from there, and as such it was always rammed with talent looking for a "break into the media business".
It was probably gayer than Gordon, though.

Take some good looking women hostage? They'll thank you for it later. Apparently.

The Town Hall is very heavy.
I went on a tour - it was a freebie at a conference I was at - and the guide told us exactly how heavy it was, to the kilogram.
But I'm always forgetting vital information, so you'll have to go on the tour yourself if you want the precise figure.

Just had a mooch around Gamla Stan, the old town.
Seems a nice enough gaff.
Scenic.
FUCKING expensive though.

Take a trip on the Blue metro line from the city centre to it's far terminus and back.
See if you can work out why the locals call it "The Orient Express".

There were a few boozers in the old town where it was 45-55 krona (less than a fiver) for a beer. This was in 2012 though. No i can't remember their names.
Get the metro out to some of the northern stations on the red line. Some are set amongst some really nice scenery, woods and lakes and all that. Again i can't remember the actual station names.
Stand outside a supermarket for a few minutes and you may see a parafin feed a load of bottles/cans into the machine thingies for money. Proper Nordic/Germanic efficiency in action.
Had the best kebab I'd ever eaten in Stockholm as well. Again, fucked if i can remember where from though.

I googled "cheapest bars in STOCKHOLM" and it suggested Lion Bar. So I got the metro here. Am outside it now, and it's closed down.
Cunts.

Lion Bar won't cost you a penny. Can't get cheaper than that.
